I came across this interview, that you had with the legeondary credit, today.
It was exhilarating and overwhelming to obsorb the clarity of Credit's interview.
i remember witnessing these talents unfold in the late 70's and early 80's before my return in the mid 80's. All do respect for King Credit!!!

Wish I'd taken photos of some of the killer pieces I saw of Credit and Jaycee back in the day ('81, '82, '83). The pix on this blog are cool, but man, there was a really killer double piece by Jay Cee and Credit on the back wall of McCall school on 6th and Spruce back in the day. I can't remember who initially went over it, but the last good pieces I remember on that wall (which is right across the street from where my mom and stepdad still live) were Met and Espo.

I miss the days of killing the routes in Philly. I'm 37 years old now and haven't seen many of the writers I used to terrorize this city with before the creation of retarded Tim Spencer and the anti graffiti network. To punk ass Tim Barlow who told my Mom that I tag on churches..... Fuck you Barlow. I never forgot that.

To my man MET and the rest of I2I (In2It) we had the city on lock in 85-86. If I forget to shout you out here, it's no disrepect, I just forgot alot you guys.

IN2IT crew MET, BUS, KIM, TAP (rip lil Mark) CRY. Again, I may have forgotten some cats, but we owned anything south of city hall's broad street line. I have to take a ride on the Broad street line one day for old time sake. I wonder if that chrome still shines in the tunnels???

IXU crew
ZENA, CRY, STEADY B, DEVON............. I miss yall dudes.

Now for the best of the rest............ literally.

BATE (we combos for life homie) PIT (RIP Robby) KAD, MB, BABYROCK, DIZ, TRAN, WAR, CLEAK, PEZ, SAN, ROBSKI, (damn...... I forgot about 224) JAP, SUB, PRINK123, TEAZ, KA, BANDIT, KADSTER, BOOSTER, CEE, BK, KARAZ, OMEN, JOHNSKI, CORNBREAD and my cousin SHAN........

North Philly holla at me........

Not for nothing, and no disrespect to any writers mentioned already, but I'm sure if you checked with some of those same writers, they would tell you that the BEST graffiti style crew to come out of philly was started in 1977 and influenced the unique philly style called "wild style" or "wickeds" and they were the SAM (sly artistic masters) crew.

Made me sentimental. I'm from Mt. Airy in the 80's. ESTRO was king! Bixby, Chucky cy, Emork/Krome, Flint ruled the NW. Credit, Mr. Blint, Pizazz, MB, Estro were gods to me.
