Truthfully speaking, the majority of interviews are boring - especially if you really dig the person or artist, because that means you’ve read the same things over and over and over again. And sure, it’s great to read about the artists and entertainers, but sometimes you want to read about the silent crew of the community: the promoters, the security guards, bartenders, web designers, soundman, girlfriends, boyfriends, and of course the fans who can make or break any concert or party. So, with that my friends, I bring you WORDPLAY, a simple and fun feature. Yes, this has been done before somewhere – but we’re doing it here and the questions are more real than those emails you get to ‘get to know your friends’ BS! There is no editing, except bad spelling. WORDPLAY is just a few off the wall interview questions with all types of people that make up the hip-hop community. Sit back, relax, laugh and enjoy, DD

I really won’t waste most time describing someone you know. Most likely, he told you about this site since he is one of the creators behind 215hiphop.com. Just One is his ’street name’, but I call him Justin. You can see him running around Philly handing out flyers and in venues always with a drink in hand - ALWAYS! And Justin, I’m sorry about #11 – I just honestly wanted to know. xo

1. Ever been propositioned while promoting? Be honest…
Yes, all the time. Is where I get 90% of my work done. While at the bar getting drunk.

2. Most beers you ever drank in one day?
20 (Concert Festivals)

3. If you walked into a bathroom and it smelled like shit and while you
were leaving someone else walked in…What do you do or say?
Nothing, keep walking.

4. First movie that made you cry?
”The Neverending Story”
Don’t front, you did too.

5. Do you know any crackheads personally?
Not anymore, they’re all dead

6. Favorite non hip-hop group?
TOOL

7. Three Magazines you keep in the house?
Scratch, Advertising Age, XXL

8. Favorite Flavor of Ramen Noodles?
Chicken Noodle

Wildwood

10. Ever had sex on the beach? No…I mean, actual sex on a beach?

11. You’re not that tall..what is your actual height?
5′7 (you’re not my favorite person right now)

12. Do you think Flavor Flav messed up PE’s rep with his reality TV
fame?
Absolutely, but at the same time PE is selling more records right now,
then they have in the past 10yrs or so.. So there message may be
getting across to the people who really need it the most. (The people
who watch flavor of love)

13. Speaking of a reality show, which one do you think you could
actually win?
The White Rapper Show. Cause I’m not an MC and I can’t rap for sh*t, BUT
either could the person who won it (Now thinking about it, I should really try out)

14. Mother of your kids: Halle Berry or Oprah Winfrey?
Oprah (that’s a no brainer! Oprah ain’t never running out of the cash
flow)

Chips Ahoy

16. Have you ever eaten from Jim Steaks on South Street? Don’t lie…
Absolutely. One of my fav. Cheese steak spots. Although my favorite is Steve Prince Of Steaks off Bustleton Ave. Shout out to Magoo & Tavis

17. Growing Pains or Who’s the Boss?

18. Most Memorable New Year’s Eve…that you can remember?
A few yrs back (maybe 2002) a high school friend of mine rented the biggest frat
house on Penn’s campus.(without the frat boys) And by big, I mean 6 floors, and over 10 bedrooms. Live Band, DJ, ect. Night was just off the hook. A great night and morning!

19. Age where you lost your virginity (or haven’t you lost it yet)?
15yrs old (and yes Deesha, I used a condom)

20. Do you remember her name and location (you don’t have to
