Wordplay w/mc ELIXIR (F.A.M./Skratch Makaniks)

When I heard that MC Elixir was part of the Skratch Makaniks crew, I was slightly confused because I know he doesn’t know how to DJ. Or I don’t think he does. Then I was told he serves as the vocal element at the parties, hyping people up and keeping the energy of the crowd moving. Meanwhile, he continues to work on his album that will be out sometime in the near future. I caught up with him for a few seconds in hopes to reveal to you a little bit more about the voice on the mic.

1. Do you think Hillary or Obama really have a chance at being President?
Since Hillary has experience as a Vice Pres I say let her run beside
President Obama…that’ll piss the WASP’s off.2. Do you ever run out of things to say on the mic?
Never, since I only speak when its appropriate.

3. Who is the one artist that you’d give your arm and leg to work with?
I’m keeping my limbs but I’d consider giving my eyes to work with
Stevie Wonder.

4. How often do you change your bed sheets?
I change my sheets after each episode.

5. How often do you change your towel and washcloth?
I’m a man…so I don’t even know if there’s a correct answer for that
question.

6. Do you get mad that people may know you more for your hype man status than MC status?
I travel and most seem to know me as a traditional MC or performer. If
someone doesn’t know bout my music they will.

7. What’s the funniest thing someone has came up and said to you while performing?
If you only knew the things people try to bribe me with just for a
shout out.

8. Do you like your bread lightly toasted, medium toasted or dark almost burnt toasted?
I don’t cook.

9. If there was one song to describe your average day, what would it be?
“Today Was A Good Day” by Ice Cube

10. What is the most you ever spent on a pair of sneakers?
Too much

11. Anybody ever try to ‘Billie Jean’ you with a kid that wasn’t yours?
Unfortunately. But I remain single, healthy, college educated, and
with no children…whassup ladies!!!

12. Do you download or physically buy porn?
I work in Night Clubs 5 outta 7 days therefore its no need to
purchase porn.

13. What is your biggest monthly bill?
Can you say student loans?

14. Do you shit in public bathrooms?
Nah, I’m a Private not public person.

15. What age did puberty hit you?
There are those who would say, I’m still waiting.

16. Who do you think will win the Mayoral election in Philadelphia?
Whoever is able to create the most name recognition. Fattah, is
recognized but Knox is making a good run

17. Is there any TV show that should come back?
In Living Color

18. Did you stop watching Seinfeld when Michael Richards uttered the ‘N’ word?
Never really started.

19. If you had to do it all over again, would you join the military?
I think every man should join the military for a brief period of
time.

20. How often do you think Al Sharpton gets his hair done?
Often enough to take care of his split ends.
